Anne Frank Book Project
Anje Jager was born in 1977 in a small town in the north of The Netherlands.
She studied to become an art teacher, but soon realised, rather then teaching she wanted to practise art herself.
She went on to study graphic design at the art college in Groningen, The Netherlands, taking drawing and painting classes on the side.
She graduating from art school in 2002 and left The Netherlands to live an work in Berlin, Germany.
After working as a graphic designer and an art-director for five years, she started focusing on drawing again.
Picking up her love for drawing and painting she really got into fine black lines, floating watercolours and drawing lots and lots of portraits.
Anje is living and working in Berlin.
